Data Terms & Conditions


Please read the terms and conditions of service in full on these offers before signing, thus signing means you have read and understood the terms and conditions of using our services and agree to comply with them.


Payment Structure


1. The package is a prepaid month to month arrangement with the first three month compulsory. Signing for the service means you agree and are liable to the compulsory period.
2. A CPE and/or MiFi router is not part of the data package, it is provided on request with options to buy or rent. The rent option means the router remains the property of Dimens digital and when our services are no longer required the router should be returned to us. On the other hand, the buy option means the router belongs to the subscriber (you) from day one of service, and you (the subscriber) are obligated to pay for full amount of the 12months subscription of the router.
3. Dimens digital provides SIM-Card as per desired Network and data traffic option listed above and in exchange the subscriber (you) pays the specified amount per month for the service.
4. Initial set-up (Where required) and/or installation will be charged at a once off fee of R 350 per visit and R200 an hour thereafter, this will apply to all call out for technical service and/or setups.
5. The services shall be payable a month in advance. Basically the subscriber uses what he/she has already paid for. All payments should reflect on our bank statement by the 1st of every month, failing that, an interest fee of 5% will be charged on your current balance.
6. The package offers you specified number of gigabytes of data traffic for 30 calendar days to use as stated on your option of choice. As a results, prorate may apply on the first month of service.
7. The initial invoice will be CWO (cash with order), a full amount of the service will be required and credited for the following month. Your data will be prorated and the pro-rata amount will be invoiced once the service has been initialised and will due end of the same month.
8. Night data is defined as 00h00 (12am) to 05h00 (5am) for Telkom Data and for MTN.
9. No data can be used in advance and the remaining data can be carried forward to the next/following month only once, i.e. the lifespan of purchased data is to the maximum of 60 days.
10. Top up data can only be acquired through Dimens digital and will be provided on a CWO (Cash with order)base.
11. You are free to cancel the service at any time after a compulsory period is served, a 30 day notice has to be given in writing to Dimens digital. Failure to give notice or give notice on time will hold you liable for the monthly fee.
12. Dimens reserves the right to cancel/suspend/terminate the service and/or change the terms of serviceincluding, but not limited to, prices, data traffic, and payments terms without prior notice.


Liabilities and Responsibilities


a. The router, the Sim-card and all accessories that come with the service remain the property of Dimens digital, and will be returned to Dimens digital when they are no longer in use or when their service is no longer required, except in the case where the CPE or MiFi router was on a buy option.
b. In cases where a routers and/or accessories will be rovided, then the SIM shall only be used in the device provided as part of the deal except in such instances as the device is under repair or being replaced by Dimens or is substituted by another Dimens approved device.
c. A subscriber may not employ automated electronic or mechanical processes designed to defeat network inactivity time-outs. Such tools include, but are not limited to, repetitively pinging the host, device manipulation etc.
d. Dimens reserves the right to terminate a user from its etwork if he/she is found to be causing harmful interference to Dimens’ network through using jamming devices or equipment violating the type approval Dimens service standards.
e. Any loss or damage to the router, the Sim-card or any accessory associated with the service must be reported to Dimens digital immediately.
f. The subscriber will be liable for any damage or loss of the router, the Sim-card and any accessory associated with the service while they are in subscriber’s premises and/or service.
g. In the case of loss or damage to the router, Sim-card and/or accessories associated with the service, Dimens digital will assess and replace whatever is needed to continue the service and bill you accordingly, except in a case where the damage is of a technical nature or act of God and not caused by human interference or negligence.
h. LTE network operates a radio-controlled core network which is a shared radio resource and could from time to time become strained due to radio resource intensive programs. This impacts negatively on other’s broadband experience and/or the performance of Dimens systems or networks. In such instances; Dimens reserves the right to limit such activities should the need arise.
